Born and raised in Michigan, Brandon graduated from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, Cum Laude. During that time, he served as an Editor on the Law Review, clerked for Federal Magistrate Stephen Whalen, received the Certificate of Merit Award for Property Law and Elder Law, and assisted senior citizens as a student attorney in the Probate and Estate Planning Clinic.
Brandon was awarded the Western Michigan University Cooley Law School Eugene Krasicky Award. This award is given to the law review editor who made the most significant contributions to the law review.
